Management
Data privacy protection is increasingly important in a technology-oriented world. Our in-house systems include functions dedicated to protecting confidential information, and management trains staff on the importance of proper personal data management.
Notice
We share information with the competent Authorities, in particular the Federal Tax Authority, and with the staff in charge, only to the extent needed to carry out the engagement. We work with Free Zones, providers and advisors who share our approach to data protection.
Choice and consent
By accepting our engagement proposal, and given the nature of our activity, clients authorise us to process the data required to manage their company's accounting and tax affairs (for example Corporate Tax and VAT registrations, returns, EmaraTax and FTA profile updates).
It is at the client's discretion to provide information beyond what is strictly necessary.
Data collected through this website
When you fill in the contact form we collect your name, email, optional phone number and company name, your situation, the service of interest and your message. We use them solely to reply to your request and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal.
This website does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools. To display fonts and the map, Google services (Google Fonts and Google Maps) are loaded, which may receive technical data such as your IP address under their own policies.
Collection
During the engagement we ask clients to provide confidential information by email or by direct delivery of documents.
Use, retention and disposal
Staff are trained on the importance of confidentiality. Use of data, such as copies of passports, Emirates IDs, licences, invoices and bank statements, is limited to the purposes of the accounting and tax engagement.
Accounting and tax records are retained for the period required by UAE law (normally 7 years). After that period, hard copies are shredded and digital files deleted. Data received through the contact form, if no engagement follows, is kept for a maximum of two years.
Messages sent through the contact form also remain stored in the website’s management panel, held by the hosting provider, until they are deleted: we remove those no longer needed on a regular basis.
Access and security
Each team member accesses our systems with personal credentials and can only view the files assigned to them. Full access is reserved to management. To reduce paper, all communications are archived in an orderly way in our system, file by file, ensuring accurate, complete and relevant data.
Disclosure to third parties
Data is disclosed to third parties only where needed for the engagement: competent Authorities and parties acting on our behalf under equivalent principles. Where clients request it, we coordinate with their corporate service provider, including Outstanding Life International FZC.
This version of the website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which acts as a processor on behalf of the controller: besides hosting the pages, it receives, stores and forwards the messages sent through the contact form. Any transfer of data outside the European Economic Area takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Complaints and review
Any privacy concern or complaint is handled directly by management and, in serious cases, brought to the attention of the competent authorities. We review our procedures every year and update staff training accordingly.
